We Are Off

Day One: Flying High from RIC to LIR

As we embark on a month long adventure, we are truly grateful to have this experience. Time with the M before she goes to kindergarten, finally a break for David after a long General Assembly session and for me after a long four years working 12 hour days. This is a once in a life time opportunity that I wish everyone was as lucky as me to have.

Why Costa Rica?

Why not? We have never been. I haven’t had one person say anything bad about Costa Rica. I am looking forward to the beach across the street from our VRBO Condo, the friendly faces, the slow pace of life, using my Spanish skills I have been studying for the last two months and to the new adventures that await us. From beaches to volcanoes to rain forest, where monkeys and sloths run free and waterfalls and hot springs that make the place more magical. We will be staying in Tamarindo the majority of the time with special excursions to La Fortuna and Monteverde. Day trips out and back will also be added to the fun!
