Nashville Watch Out

We landed at Nashville RV Resort and Cabins (amazing bathrooms) around noon to take a rest and a quick dip in the pool. Meeting up with Chris, Bob and Dave at their hotel, we headed over to Caney Fork Restaurant for a early, quick bite of alligator, bison, burgers and chicken. The decor was something (look who is driving the red truck). We headed over to the Grand Ole Opry to see a superstar line up of Riders in the Sky, Gene Watson, Feist (Canadian Indie), Neal McCoy, John Conlee, Kathy Mattea, Kelsey Hart and Sara Evans. Maggie’s “first” concert ended with a backstage tour where we all saw the dressing rooms, Studio A (where HeeHaw was filmed), the stage and all the plaques with all the Opry members names. No celebrity sightings, but still fun and a great way to learn more about country music.
