Santa Fe All the Way

We had a wonderful day in beautiful Santa Fe today. We started with a visit to the eclectic museum Meow Wolf - an immersive art and visual storytelling experience. Maggie loved finding secret doorways through chimneys, refrigerators and more as room after room was revealed. We got to play music on old bones and climb down a ridiculously narrow spiral staircase.

After Meow Wolf we had lunch at the oldest restaurant in Santa Fe, the Plaza Cafe (1905), where Maggie loved that they served breakfast for lunch.

From there we spent the afternoon walking around the multitude of shops and art galleries in historic Santa Fe. Yes, we did find a couple pieces of New Mexico art that will be coming back to Virginia with us!

Tomorrow it is off to Arizona and the Grand Canyon …
